went to A-kon a while back. For my first time, it was awesome, the trip up there was a bit of a hassle, (we didn't get out of our area code until 2am) although I was pretty much the only one in my group that cosplayed. I was one of the few Renji running around, but I was the only one with the full scale Zabimaru shikai, huzzah! I spent most of my time in the dealers room or in the lobby/ artist area, the second day I was part of the naruto vs bleach photoshoot, it was cool just seeing these rival anime/manga charas just chilling out and enjoying ourselves. although I had to instigate the entire battle, (I had the biggest weapon of both groups) saw lots of pocky, ramune, sake, and weapons, I ran into three of my favorite anime charas (Komamura aka Capt fuzzy face, Unohana aka Capt Mom, and Kiba from Wolf's Rain) took a bunch of pics (still sorting through them). thankfully I got three souveniers, a little pic of Yachiru (pink hair, cute kid, hyper and deadly) a Renji magnet, and the Wolf's Rain manga, (those are hard to find). I am determined that next time, Zabimaru is going to be smaller, (the thing barely fit in the vehicle, that and getting through doorways, crowds and elevators was a hellish)
