I hate the cold, I hate the cold, I hate the cold, I HATE the bloody cold!
Just because my nickname is the 'Ice Queen' does not mean I enjoy being cold. Yes, I know it's mid Nov. and in Texas, but good God, it got COLD, this is the first actual cold day we've had and I'm already wearing 4 layers of clothes, two pairs of socks, and I'm still cringing. I seriously want to stick my hands and feet in the microwave or dryer right now.
Not much has happened, back to boring kinda, almost lost my com today by major forgetfulness, thankfully a friend of mine dropped it off a little later. I've also been in a cooking/baking mood just made cinnamon rolls yesterday. Yes, all 20 of them are gone now. Dad won't let me turn up the heat to 65, but he'll turn on the ceiling fans in this weather (I know crazy right?) I've been back in a drawing mood, kinda. good nigh, I have Ares on my lap and my legs are still shivering!
Should I be assured or disturbed at the thought of 'there's something with me'? cause I've been feeling that a lot, but don't know what to do with it.
I've really enjoyed getting things cleaned/organized, just not my own stuff, I think I'll always have trouble with that. *laughs* just finished a yard sale fix up, and now I have a client wanting his dresser refinished *shakes head*.
Just finished reading 'This Present Darkness', the first 20someodd pages are kinda blah-ish but after that, could not put down at all, read it 3 times, first to get the feel of it, the second to see things I missed the first time, lastly to actually -read- it. very very good. and geez, I'm still cold!
well anyways, I'll let you people get back to your lives, I'm snuggling under the covers and try and get warm.
