Literature Text

Should I speak among the stars;
What tales would I find?
Assemble dust and gas
A nimbus molded into light.

Should I snare the sky;
What mysteries unfold?
Mounds of air and water
Create tranquility and force.

Should I strip the mountain to the roots;
What secrets would I find?
Ancient headstones rest above
The molten pool below.

Should I tread into the mind;
What discoveries await?
Thoughts that form worlds
And design to weave our Fate.

Should I fathom all my faith;
What hope shall I obtain?
Through Narrow paths and lofty heights
To where Perfection lies.

The music of the spheres
Dwells with Knowledge and Fear.
In order to truly understand anything there is some inspiration or reverence given to it. Why else would students, scholars, or anyone in the art or science community pursue their studies if they are not awe-stricken by it.

Even though this is a very short work, I think this is very deep and powerful. I love your usage of synonyms for common words. It adds a good different feel to the poem.

You've got great talent, my friend. Keep it up.
