How to love a girl who can't love herself.
one.
When she cries herself to sleep
six out of seven nights a week you must
say nothing. You must simply take
her in your arms and kiss her gaunt,
pale cheeks and wait for her to
slumber at the sound of your heart.
two.
On the days where she wishes she
were part of the stars, tell her
no. Tell her that there are too many
lights in the sky and that just one
would be forgotten the moment you looked
away from it. Tell her that she is perfect
the way she is: completely human.

Don't let her think about the scars

The Riddle and The Rose

An old woman sits with flowers in her hand
Tattered and withered are they
Roses once red, like her now greying hair
Stop & listen, you'll hear her say
"Give me a penny, I'll ask you a riddle
Ask you a riddle, will I
A small pearl of wisdom for every right answer,
So come on and give it a try"
A little girl, from out of the shadows steps forward,
With bright green eyes
She says to the woman, "your flowers are broken"
And then she begins to cry
Says the old woman "I'll ask you a riddle,
Ask you a riddle will I
Child, come closer, my voice is a whisper
I know you c
Please be there my Lord
when my soul thirsts for You
after getting far from your love,
far from home.
Please be there my Lord
when I run away
ashamed of my faults
and hiding from your love.
Please be there my Lord
when I turn a blind eye
on my brothers' suffering and on You
as I try to get away from your love.
Please be there my Lord
when I ask for forgiveness
for my sins and my lack of love,
do forgive me.
Please be there my Lord
on my last moments in this world.
Receive my pain, bathe me in your love.
Help me in my agony.
Please be there my Lord
at the end of times
so that I can glorify your love

My hands are small and shakey,
but the callouses on my palms
tell of strength beyond vision.
These hands
have carried broken souls,
nurtured them
all while building walls around my own.
Stones with jagged edges
scarred theses hands.
Little rough looking scars
that burn on contact.
But resentment does not lie in my heart for them.
These little lines of flesh,
show I survived.
These scars are trophies of triumph.
Like tattoos, my hands show where I've been.
When you look at these little hands of mine
do not scrutinize the long, slender fingers
or the way they shake
and the joints pop.
When my palm clasps yours,
feel the callouses.

ARCHAEOLOGISTS CLAIM TO HAVE FOUND GOD
Archaeologists revealed in a press conference that they had unearthed an Entity of Unknown Origin (EUO) early Thursday morning when they broke open a sealed structure. Up until the archaeologists cracked it open, the structure had been untouched for nearly two thousand years. Archaeologists were unable to answer how the EUO managed to survive, or why the structure was sealed in the first place.
“This is a major discovery,” says head archaeologist Noland Grace. “Whether you’re a Christian or not, this is going to be a game changer. We found God. I
